It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

On October 2, we had the privilege of honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month by taking part of Rosé @ Medaloni Cellars, a fundraising event supporting the Positive Pink Power Fund’s effort in providing life-saving services to women in Winston-Salem. The evening was jammed pack with pink, laughter, love, and lots of gratitude.

A special thanks to Wake Forest Baptist Imaging Center and Sir Speedy Printing for co-sponsoring the Beauty Mirror Photo Booth experience with us so all guests could enjoy and have a fun keepsake. Since the temperature was expected to drop by evening, we took the opportunity to set up the Beauty Mirror Photo Booth outside. It was such a fun night! Here are just a few pictures of moments that will be forever cherished by everyone:

Here is how to host a successful fundraiser.

The Beauty Mirror Photo Booth and the themed prop selection were very well received. It helped entertain guests and captured meaningful moments. Add wine, tacos, raffles, live music and a caricaturist to the mix and the night was guaranteed to be a success. To be exact, the event had 192 in attendance and raised approximately $4,900. That is 35 free mammograms! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who helped make this happen and to Wake Forest Baptist Imaging Center and Forsyth Woman Magazine for hosting this event!

Another highlight of the night was the relaxed ambience live music by Joey Barnes and Courtney Leigh Hudson. In between sipping great wine, using the photo booth, and jamming to great lounge hits, attendees were also able to get their caricature. Talk about a jammed pack event!

Medaloni Cellars was the perfect venue for this fundraising event!  Did we mention that they had a great wine selection that paired well with the food selection of the night? Thank you Joey Medaloni for hosting us all and to your staff for making this a fun night!

Taqueria El Azteca also did a fabulous job at keeping everyone happy and full all night. How can one go wrong with wine and tacos?? We highly recommend heading to Medaloni Cellars for a relaxed evening as well as trying everything from Taqueria El Azteca. Specially their Torta… it was amazing!

What else can we say about this event? It was perfect! In addition to purchasing a T-shirt with proceeds going to the Positive Pink Power Fund, attendees also had the opportunity to buy raffle tickets. The silent auction included awesome themed baskets, fine art portrais, and more!

Photo RAMIT Productions is a STRONG advocate for raising awareness and funds towards breast cancer. In fact, our family ran the Donna half-marathon in Jacksonville, FL in February 2018. Breast cancer awareness has a special part in our hearts and we loved being part of the energy at Rosé @ Medaloni Cellars. We look forward to continue participating in events like thesethat are inspired from and support incredible goals and values.

A special thanks to Ronald Mejia, our photographer, for capturing these candid moments during this meaningful night and to all of the amazing vendors that made this night a successful one:
